Veterinary Day Board and Train combines the benefits of professional dog training with the convenience of daytime boarding. While staying with us, dogs participate in personalized training sessions focusing on key skills such as obedience, socialization, and behavior modification. Unlike traditional doggy daycare, which mainly provides playtime, our Canine Academy program is designed to improve your pet’s behavior through one-on-one coaching, structured routines, and enrichment activities.
At the end of the day, pet parents receive a short tutorial and training materials to continue reinforcing their dog’s progress at home. Consistent practice between sessions helps maintain and strengthen the new skills learned during training.
Who is Eligible for Veterinary Day Board and Train?
At ZenPets Integrative Veterinary Care, we welcome all dogs into our Day Board and Train program, whether they are:

Day Board and Train Requirements:
To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets participating in Day Board and Train, we require:
- Proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella
- Current negative intestinal parasite test and heartworm test
- Proof of flea and tick prevention
- For puppies under 4 months old: At least two Distemper/Parvo vaccinations, one Bordetella vaccine, a negative intestinal parasite test, and proof of prevention
What Are the Hours for Day Board and Train?
Our Day Board and Train program runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays
- Late pickup is not currently available
- Be sure to allow time for a brief tutorial with the Day Trainer at pickup so you can reinforce your pet’s learning at home
Can Pets with Special Medical Needs Stay for Day Boarding?
